Ready for the NYE fireworks!

Wednesday 30th December 2015 Local advice was to go around to the main harbour today and
find a good spot to watch the fireworks tomorrow, before the mad rush
started. So we set off mid-morning through the Spit bridge again and
round to Athol Bay where we tucked in behind Bradley’s Head. There
were just a few boats already there, so we had our pick of the spots and ended
up with a good view of the harbour bridge. Then we just sat back and
watched as other boats gradually began to fill the bay.
We passed dinghies out racing in Middle Harbour. Our
view of the bridge from our spot in Athol Bay. Relaxing and watching the bay fill up with boats.
The sun setting behind the towers of Sydney CBD. All
quiet as the light fades over the city. Looking forward to tomorrow night! |
