Having seen our fill
of monasteries, we headed towards our stop for the night on a nearby island,
Nisis Ammouliani. We made for the harbour of Ammouliani Village and tied
up inside the harbour wall. We then went for a wander around the village,
and stopped for a leisurely (and very expensive) beer in a taverna. Back
on the boat we were just retiring for a short nap when a boat hooting loudly
caught our attention and we were told we had to move the boat because we were in
the space used by a trip boat. We were offered a very narrow space further
along but neither of us fancied trying to squeeze into it, so we left the
harbour and dropped the anchor just north of it, where we spent a peaceful
night.
