Hello followers, we left A Coruna yesterday, Sunday with a heavy heart, great place an dfriendly people. However the weather forecast indicated that Sunday would be a bit less windy than Monday going around Finesterre.
Our new friends, Henrik and Jana on their Najad 460 Song of the Seas were sticking to their plan for leaving early Monday, they reckoned their weather indicated it being lighter close in.
I hope so since they are only two handed, we got winds up to 27 kn through the night until it petered out this morning as forecast to almost zero. we are currently motorsailing! Pah!
During the evening we had a great sail 8 to 11 kn speed with wind on the beam, Roger then spotted a whale, not huge but 25 foot maybe launching itself into the air. Later in the night we both heard and saw two or three pods of Dolphins.
Position is now 41.32N 009.30W
