Exocet Strike
John & Stella Dyer

Welcome back followers, we set sail again yesterday
from Mindelo in the Cabo Verdes, the winds were 25 to 35kn, not fun but we
expected it might be rough in the area between the two islands - an acceleration
zone, we didnt expect it would stay from 20 to 30 kn all night and today, with
big seas. Oh well. Brian managed to get a rope burn to his upper arm when
the autopilot cut out due to too much wind, so we are treating him for this,
hopefully it will get better soon.
We are hoping the sinds reduce a bit, still gusting
to 25 kn and big seas so pretty uncomfortable, Exocet is rolling a lot, and its
a grey sky, not much sun so its not very warm either - relatively that is, I bet
its warmer than in the UK right now.
enough rambling, trying to pick up latest weather
files,
John and the crew of Exocet
