The Niue people fish a lot and we watched a net fishing technique involving much thrashing of the water to drive fish into the net.

 Frustratingly en route to Niue from Raiatea we hooked 5 fish and lost them all on the reel in so we need to perfect our technique.

We depart today Monday 20th June to cross to Fiji about 600 miles and in the process we cross the International date line so we lose a day of our lives. We should be in good time for George to catch his flight out on 2nd July.
