After we picked up George we cruised from Kos to Astipalaia (very beautiful, peaceful island with an excellent Taverna, Asta konkos) to Thira, the sinister volcano with few places to anchor (very precipitous sides - no shallow water) there we met the mighty Meltemi and had to sail North in the gathering dark to the refuge of an anchorage in the south of Sikinos.

Vicky and Geo enjoying lunch break.

Overnight at anchor in peaceful bay in South of Siros, village called Vari - we walked and ate ashore amongst friendly greek locals.

Geo departed the next day from Siros main town, Ermoupolis, the capital of the Cyclades, after we had walked up to the fine Cathedral.

Vicky and I then sailed to Aigina to meet up with Ansell’s, Earp’s, Nville Jones’ and Thompsons for a very enjoyable supper.
