Well we nearly are - just 355 nautical  miles to go. We have motor sailed over night in failing wind and launched the Yankey and Mizzen sail this morning to pick up the dawn Easterly wind.

One amazing feature of this adventure thus far has been the food in every respect - the 3 chefs have vied for the Master Chef award and it is a very close run thing.

Willie has produced brilliant sunny roasts and gourmet breakfasts -

Smoked salmon and scrambled egg a typical start to the day.

Clive has majored on the most delicious Chicken and Ginger dish - and  last nights supper from Andrew was a master stroke

Sun dried (literally a week hanging from a net swinging below the solar panels above the back deck) red pepper stuffed with savoury mince reinforced with much red chillies served on a bed of delicious rice and peas.

This morning we have just experienced the most beautiful sunrise coming majestically up over the starboard quarter.

What a way to star the day and now we only have a few days left. In St Lucia the first guest arriving on Saturday will be Gilly Cumming followed closely by Vicky and Serena on Monday and then Will on Tuesday. Much cleaning of the boat going on so we don’t get into trouble
