After an exceptional supper in restaurant Zanzibar and a peaceful night - We sailed South West from Le Marin on Friday afternoon to arrive early evening at Anse D’Arlet a very small fishing village in the South West of the island.

Little sun bathing What a beautiful spot.

Will and Serena went on a reconnaissance ashore and met a man roasting a goat over open coals dug into the sand - they booked us in to a very primitive beach-front eatery. We ordered dish of the day -  goat, a first for all of us. It was well cooked and tasted of musty mutton - a fine evening ensued chased by some of the strongest liqueur [on the house] I have ever tasted. Vieux Rum!! We were also treated to a full run down on our royal family by the St Lucian lady chef (she had moved to Martinique some years ago). We are now much wiser about the lineage and popularity or otherwise of most of our royal family. But BIG BOSS QUEEN will be around for some years yet - then she wanted William and Kate on the St Lucian banknotes.
