BUT IT WAS TIME TO MOVE ON. UP ANCHOR.
Carango set off at a cracking pace with reefed sails to take on the Indian Ocean and all that she night throw at us, The Indian Ocean has a somewhat fearsome reputation. We were warned at the start that more yachts lose their steering gear or have steering gear failures on this Ocean than any other.

 Malcolm was calm and in control. So we shook out the reefs and powered forward.

 Mark prepared himself for the Voyage - that’s what we like to see.
 Surveying the scene - thank goodness we have two qualified surveyors on board!!!
