At last the winds are on our side. Even though we
have still had a bit of swell it is more behind us so pushing us along
aswell.
The winds have picked up and stayed steady all day.
Making really good progress today. Done 90nm already and it is only 11pm. 9hrs
left for our 24hour period.
We have been steaming along at an average of
7-8knots.with only 2 reefs in the main and jib.
Rob made us tea tonight. throughout the
entire trip we have never had mushrrom and spinich risotto.This was the
first time and it was realy nice.
We only have about 3-4 meals left on the boat
now so we cant be much longer at sea than
saturday. Otherwise its ceral for lunch and tea :)
The last cup of tea has been drank this evening as
we are now completly out of sugar, only a small amount of hot chocolate left now
aswell.
We should be arriving at Newport news on thursday
evening, so burger time and a chance to re-fuel before heading straight to
Annapolis!
