Well the last couple of days have been eventfull.
There has been next to no wind, very flat seas. So been motoring along. Very
dark nights as the moon hasnt been rising untill the early hours of the morning.
Very clear skys, the stars have been incredible. Seen a few shooting
stars!
Been getting distracted with team games of monopoly
so not been writing the blog. Even though we have been playing it on the Ipad i
still think Warren has been cheating somehow. Winning 2 games by a considerably
big amount of cash. Luckily today i stopped his winning streak with ending up
with 13.5K somehow and he was out and bankrupt first. Not a very good looser as
he then sat outside on the trampoline with his music on. I reacon sulking for
loosing ha!
Rob made us Carbonara for tea. Not a bad cook
for someone who has no sense of smell, so taste isnt his strong point either. He
is determined to make improvements to it for his next time at cooking it!
:)
Every day so far we have spotted dolphins and today
they were there again without fail. On my watch between rolls of the dice at
monopoly i spotted a fin, gracefully come out the water then back down
again! Ive convinced myself it was a shark but our very own David Attenborough
asures me it was another dolphin. It was only the 1, showed itself 3 times and
that was it, Gone!
Now into the night the wind is back. Aiming the way
we want to go at average 7/8 knots. Both sails up, no engines! Its about time we
had some wind. But i was enjoying the really calm, flat seas. No waves hitting
the hulls sounding like its going to crash through.
2078nm Done from La Rochelle
Still another 2383nm to the British Virgin
Islands.
Lets hope this wind keeps up.
The sun is getting warmer, soon be outside in the
shorts and bikini! Getting my tan on! yay!!
