The wind veer gives us an opportunity to make a
little more southing on our course to get into the better breeze that will exist
in the south toward the end of the week.
We had our second whale encounter yesterday
evening, probably a pilot whale. It seemed intrigued by us swiming very close to
the boat for about 40 minutes, sometimes in front, sometimes alongside. Dolphins
this morning.
