Well Began the day on the 6am watch... sun rise
over sicilly as we sailed off towards Gibralter!!
Feels like we are actually going now.. fully sails,
sailing away at 9knts sunshine blazing!!! well for the morning at least, by
lunchtime the wind had dropped off and after lunch we were motorsailing.. still
lovely day in the sunshine, shorts on whilst polishing up the stainless steel!!!
Yep even tho this boat is falling apart inside and
out she will still arrive sparkling when/if we get to the Caribbean!!
At the moment the boys are occupying themselves by
pulling apart the head (toilet)in Davids cabin.. A job I am happy to leave them
too..to see if they can fix it...
Tonight I am cooking, so we're having a sausage
cassarole thing with pasta..
Although I (Lex) have cast a line and am currently
waiting for a bite so it maybe fresh fish....
Guti found a squid on the deck this morning its
hilarious really right where it landed there's a proper squid print from
it.. it was only little but he saved it in a bucket and at lunch time
cooked it up with some garlic and ate it!! didnt offer me any but it
looked amazing!! maybe ill catch a squid in the atlantic... if we get to
the atlantic,...
