Well, what can I say last night was spectacular!!!
I headed outside onto my watch and was wowed by the fantstic display nature had provided me with...
The Stars!!! I looked up and there wasnt just one layer there was layer upon layer of stars, you could see right through the whole universe!!! constalations glalore!!
Phosphorescence!!! The sea was littered with lights, blues and greens,  jellyfish, squids and plancton glitter!!! then Dolphins lit up, glow in the dark, came by to feed and jump around leaving trails of glitter everywhere they went!!
Lightning!! The lightning was like the most amazing lazer show, forked across the sky behind us down into the ocean, clouds, Green, orange, red, blue all around.. it was like natures disco and the dolphins were dancing!!!
Latest issues with the boat... the topping lift chaffed through on the batton at about 3 am, at that moment anthony came up so we slackened it off and this morning he has been busy whipping, splicing and we've just re-hoisted it... The Strop that holds the clue (back corner of sail) down broke/ came unattached so that was another job this morning.. a busy watch...
Before I came on watch this morning the boys had been very busy!!!
Guti cast a line at 8am and at 8.30 he caught a whopping Bonita Tuna!!! Dinner tonight will be Tuna steaks as big as my head with lemon and pea risotto delicious!! and lunch sashimi!!!
All in all and eventful but enjoyable 24hours... wonder if we'll get another lightning display tonight!!!
Ooooh also tried out the go pro for underwater dolphin filming yesterday (lots of dolphin action recently) it worked really well...thinking a new career as a natural world camera man!
See you later!
