Wednesday,
Well its been a nice night pootling along making
good progress i believe....
in to the penultimate day for sunbathing now, as
friday we are due to hit a front and then its us versus the wind all the way!!
it feels like finally the delivery is drawing to a close now, it seems like a
long delivery although I dont think its any longer than last time.. i was saying
to Anthony that this leg has felt all a bit easy, we had a couple of days with
big swell and big wind, but ultimately its all been easy sailing...
He says its all still to come.... haha, im actually
looking forward to it, its been ages since we sailed through a good lightning
storm!?!
So the final 10 days, or so we hope.. we've got a
sicilian chicken pasta a sausage and lentil and a leftover pasta dish
still to have for dinners, interspersed of course with
Carrefour's finest tinned meals.. paella and couscous... so food wise
the last few days may be A bit repetitive but we're not going to
starve...
and briony your'll be pleased to know that we have
plenty of water left too, and ive had 3 showers since leaving madeira all
including a hair wash!! im due another on friday but i may bring it forward to
tomorrow as its going to be a bumpy day friday!!!
