Hmm, so we sewed and fixed the sail, and of course it ripped again, so we re-sewed another fun afternoon... but now our handywork seems to be holding out..
We have finally got a good bit of wind and we are currently sailing at 8knts to St Lucia..
The sun is out Hannah and I got our burn on yesterday and I am now a pretty shade of pink, Hannah just looks tanned!! So we're on week 8 now....its been 7 full weeks since i joined this boat... crazy, no wonder im so sick of it!!! but the end is in sight and we can forget the whole nightmare delivery... although we're still 1200 miles away soI'd better not tempt fate or we'll be stuck out here til new year...
Guti caught a nice looking Spanish Mackeral yesterday, which will no doubt be lovely... its different from tuna becasue its a white fish so its quuite exciting the last time I had it was on a delivery around Australia...
Not much else to report except we've Still not seen any dolphins since Madeira although Hannah and I saw a very distinct cloud in the shape of a dolphin yesterday so i took that as a sign they are coming!!!
Lots of flying fish though, one on the trampoline this morning!!
Only a few more days and we'll start scrubbing down this bad boy and making her ready to be handed back to her lucky owner... woop..
Well better get back out in the sunshine.. its soooo lovely being in shorts and bikini in December...
