Aquatic Life / Animal Life Update:
We saw two schools of dolphins playing around the
bow of the boat for about an hour around 6-7 pm last night, and another set
joined us about 8:30 pm.
Then at 3:15 am, I (MJ) was startled by a
thump on the deck about 3 feet in front of my face. We had an
additional passenger for the next 5 hours, a pigeon with a black tag on it's
right foot, and an orange tag on it's left.
Our days at sea..
Our watches run in 3 hour sets from 8am to 8pm, and
every 2 hours from 8pm to 8am. We eat lunch and dinner together, and eat
breakfast as we feel the need. Our food has been great!
Out first meal, dinner, was a spaghetti bolognaise; next was a salade
nicoise for lunch, and a dinner of paella last night. Anthony baked a
fresh loaf of bread this morning, and he prepared a lovely avocado, tomato,
lettuce, and cheese salad for lunch with additonal fresh bread and blue
cheese for dessert. Anthony brought a great set of recipes that Tom and I
are following to keep up with the pace.
More updates tomorrow.
Art,
I may have dropped my iPod solar charger mount at
your apt. It is a clear plastic rod about 3 inches long with a suction cup
on it. Just put it in a safe spot. : )
