Yesterday was a bit dire, the wind coming from exactly where we wanted to go
and these boats have horrendous tacking angles so very little progress was
made. In the evening the wind started to shift and go WNW so although we
have been hard on the wind, at least we have been going in  the right
direction. A frontal trough came through which gave us lots of rain, wind
and big waves but we were clear of that in a few hours.

This morning we have some blue sky and sunshine which is very welcome as it
is cold, cold, cold.
The wind has moderated to WNW F3-4 and we are closing nicely with Finnisterre. Tomorrow morning should see us clear of Biscay and heading south down the Iberian Peninsular.
