Today we have a lot of rain squalls around. The wind has gone southeast indicating that we are soon going to leave the high pressure area. Over the next few days we will be heading more west, skirting the low pressure to the north and avoiding the big winds.

No wildlife seen for several days apart from a solitary bird.

We bought several packs of Taboule mix whilst provisioning in France. I was dismayed yesterday to discover that these meals were served cold. However Irene came up with a really nice dish with some canned tuna. My turn to cook today. I think one of our risotto packs, perhaps with anchovies. Alternatively I could do pasta with a chilli tomato sauce - a bit like penne arabiata. I will decide later.

Keith is still on his Solaris book, rubbishing the editorial quality, and Irene is making progress with her woolly hats but it seems like three paces forward, two back.
