Today has been a day of very different weather.

Woke up to absolutly gorgeous sunshine at 8am. It was boiling already. The sea was really calm and we had hardly any wind. Motoring along.

At one point we only had 2knots of wind. Amazing. Sounds like it could have been swimming weather.

Oh wait, we did. We stopped the engines and went for a quick swim. Jumped of the top deck into the water, I might have splashed everyone as i really fancied bombing in ha!!

Today has been, we think the hotest day so far. I couldnt stay out in it to long, The cabins were quite cool, as we could have every hatch possible, wide open, there was a nice breeze going through.

We had a salad for lunch and i cooked the last Spag Bol for tea.

Not long after tea and a couple rounds of cards the wind suddenly went from 2knots to 20knots. That was it. The start of a really bumpy night. The wind then picked up to 30knots. Now have 3 reefs in the main and jib and the swell has picked up aswell. Getting thrown about everywere. I was just getting used to sleeping in the calm with it being quiet and now it all changes.

Robs suffering a little bit from the swell. The plan is, when it gets lighter we will be able to see were the swell is coming from and come off the wind a bit to make it a slightly more comfortable ride.

I thnk we have had the last of the really really gorgeous weather now, Its starting to get colder in the evening. Start pilling on the layers again.
