I need to keep remember to do these blogs. Im obviously to busy having fun! ha

So after leaving Gijon, we had a few hairy days of high winds, even higher waves and was due to get worse, so again we took shelter. This time in La Coruna. It will be nice to get changed and not be thrown into a wall, door, or even somehow into the bottom of the wardrobe ha!. Me and Warren managed to go for a walk around the town, have dinner and a little look around the shops,.

We left the next morning, again to some pretty big waves, looking at the weather to come there was going to be another front coming in the next day. So we motored on aiming for Porto but stopped a little more north in Bayona. Arrived here early hours on the 28th and was due to leave the next day around mid day. So a whole day in Bayona. We took the opportunity to do the oil change in the engines and have a little walk around the town. That evening Anthony made us a bacon and avacado salad, we sat chatting for a while and before we knew it Anthony had pollished of a bottle of wine and i a bottle of baileys. opps! ha. That evening was when the front reached us.The rain was incredible. When we woke up there was a yacht moored up behind us with its mast snapped in half, glad we stopped and didnt keep going.

We set off just after 12 on the 29th, heading for Maderia. Weather is looking good so hopefully no more stops until we reach Maderia. We have full sails up, no engines, sailing along nicely. Waves have died down which is so much nicer.

Early this morning (30th) we had our first sighting of dolphins. There must have been at least 15 all swimming in front of the boat. Amazing, eventually i get to see some.

Weathers looking to improve from now on.. Bring on the sunshine!!
