Saturday evening...

So to give you a little more detail in the flying fish incident.. As many of you may recall from my video diary of the last trip, (for those who have not seen it go on you tube and search for Alexa crossing the Atlantic.) I was then too very nearly hit in the face by a flying fish, I don't know what it is bout me but I seem to be a magnet for them... this one was a beast though, big big flying fish he ricocheted off the Genoa, and whizzed past my face at a remarkable speed had it hit me I suspect it could have easily broken my jaw... anyway it landed with a rather loud bang on the traveller  I then chased it around trying to get a decent picture for evidence before kicking the poor thing back into the water..it was quite a feisty thing so im hoping it recovers, although im sure it was quite a shock for him too..
Then I just ducked down below to check the time, only to hear another bang and another one had done the same thing but landed just behind the helms seat and flapped his way to the ocean quickly... Im telling you they are definitely out to get me...

just as I was typing this another flying fish leapt aboard the boat and i heard it flapping around so have just saved its life too by returning it to the ocean... Im telling  you when these fish develop lungs and feet we're all doomed...

on another note, its sunday tomorrrow and im on lunch so we're having Pancakes!!!! yay!!!
Also I am finallly starting to feel tanned, a couple more days in the sun and i will be positively golden!!

Sunday

We had a lovely day sailing yesterday but just after supper a large area of rain passed by and took all the wind with it - our log read 0.00 knots! Generally we have managed to keep the boat moving albeit slowly.

More wind expected this afternoon.

The bread dough is proofing and looking good!
