position 58:09N 08:00E in Kristiansand The scenary
is to die for with rocks and small islands every where. only travelled a short
17 n miles but most of the tim in narrow and shallow passages with pretty
summerhouses on both sides. arrived in Kristiansand and went first to the fuel
quay and then on to the visitors quay where we berthed stern to the quay with a
bow line from a buoy. We met Magnus an old friend of mine and Gunnar's together
with his two sons.In the evening and after an excellent meal in a fish
restaurant Gunnar and Tove left for home kindly driven by Magnus.Later Niels
Jaren from BWR yacht Blackbird arrived and stayed
the night.It wa good to catch up, but I did not cook him bacon and egg as
he left at 05.30 to catch a ferry to Denmark! A lazy day followed with fruitless
time spent trying to get repair work done.
