1000 n miles to Horta in the Azores. first three
days SW winds increasing to force 9 on Wednesday Rough seas. On Thursday the
wind dropped to 4 knots and veered to NE all in a minute! Motor on and no change
expecte for 36 hours when the wind will go back to 25 knots SW for 12 hrs. Then
I think we will be in the Azores High.
Watermaker broke down with the divert valve
electrical coil and flux path component burning out! Managed to fix the clapper
valve manualy and thankfully now making water again so we can all take a shower
after 4 days !!
