Position 66:57N 053:40W. We are now in the Arctic
Circle and anchored off the town of Sisimuit.During the trip here the Radar
stopped working . The self diagnostic told us that it was knackered! Old age I
guess. It is vital that we have radar with so much ice about so have had to
source a new one and it is being Fedexed out to Aasiaat the next town along the
route. It will take about a week to arrive so we will do short hops along the
coast day sailing in good weather ( avoiding fog!) Today is a rest day catching
up on maintenance ,cleaning the boat, washing ,making bread and we did some
fishing ,catching four large Cod.
