arrived in Horta in the Azores at 1030 leg time
1330 local time having crossed from Bermuda a distance of 1894 n miles in ten
days and one hour!! We motored for forty hours and sailed the rest. Winds were
consistently SW force 6 and we had some great sailing.We checked into the Azores
in Horta and left for Saint George as the marina in Horta was full. It is twenty
miles to St G and we have a berth reserved for the next three days. We will
return to Horta to pick up the girls on the 20th and set sail on the
21st.
