We arrived in Juan Fernandez at 1930 hrs having
crossed from Higuerillas a distance of 380 n miles in 49 hrs.
We anchored in Cumberland Bay and dingied ashore
for a most enjoyable crab and lobster dinner. Although it was dark it looked a
clean and tidy sleepy fshing village. We will explore in the
morning.
