We are drifting steadily north Anchored in Bequia
this evening and heading tomorrow for St Lucia A relaxing day in Palm Island.
Sad to say that John and Mary from Desperate Voyage have both died and the
Island has been sold. still a great story and now there is Mary's Voyage which I
must read.
After the complete isolation of Patagonia and
Alaska it doesn't seem the same. crowded anchorages and no one with time to talk
to. Maybe I'm getting old. Happy birthday to Gilli who will be the grand old age
of 50 on the 8th Feb - It only seems yesterday that we were celebrating our
100th birthday party!! Good to hear that Dave is on the mend and his back is
responding to treatment. We need him back to sort out the watermaker!! Great
news that Hollinsclough has finally made it round the Horn. We have booked
our tickets for the World reunion party - not sure when it is and even if
they will be back!! but we will be there. Now well into my 2nd book "Voyages of
the Discovery" which I hope to get published when I return.
