We departed San Francisco yesterday having had a
busy six days in Alemeda.All went well on the hard and we,jet
washed,serviced the prop,changed the anodes,applied two coats of micron 66
anti foul paint and upcraded the Raymarine software. When we set off Festina was
going like shit off a shovel !! We dropped Marta in the dinghy and had a
photo shoot midway between the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Some great shots
whih we will put on Picasa shortly. We did wonder whether to leave Marta in the
dinghy - but decided we needed the dinghy!! anyway who would do the washing
up?
Next stop is the channel islands San Miguel, Santa
Barbara, Santa Cruz and Anacapa.We should arrive on
Sunday
