having spent two weeks back in the UK we were on
board Festina on Wednesday and spent Thursday putting the alternator back on the
engine and fitting a new starboard nav light. Both worked fine. Then we found
that the fridge had packed up so had to have it repaired (re gassed) before
provisioning. By Thursday night we were ready to go ! Set sail in the morning
heading for Marmarma Adasi with Aussie Tom on board together with
Dave.
I enjoyed the rest in the UK and also saw most of
the Olympics including the opening ceremony and 24 GB golds! made me feel proud
to be British
