Our journey continues and we had stops in Bangor
and Port Ellen and on to Oban . In Port Ellen we met up with Rowland who kindly
lent us his car .we had an excellent tour of Ardbeg Distillary. An enjoyable
dinner in Islay Hotel with the owner (Rowland) . From there we went to Kerrera
Oban where we stayed for three days while we tried to repair our E120 chart
plotter which had failed .We ended up buying a used plotter on ebay ,which came
from London overnight. We installed it and it worked! We left the old one to be
sent to Raymarine for repair and finally got on our way at 4 pm with a short
trip to Tobermory. we are spending the night here ,ate on board and an evening
walk around the village where Donald took us to the Mishnish Hotel for a
drink.It has been shut down! Not sure where we will be tomorrow but heading for
Stornaway Position 56:37N 06:04W
