We have just spent 3 nights in Britannia Bay in Mustique (the private island frequented by celebrities and rock stars but we paid less than £60 for all three nights!)
It is a truly stunning island and very friendly and we are sad to leave as we have had a wonderful stay.
Halyard swinging in the bay
We were lucky at arrive in the middle of the blues festival so Basil’s Bar which is current undergoing a refit was open every evening with live music.
Martin was busy cleaning the hull
Which we followed up with a snorkel with some turtles.
We took the now ubiquitous taxi tour of the island and saw some stunning beaches
As well as some other sights
On our last day we spent an afternoon at the Cotton House resort (an old firstly sugar cane and then cotton plantation) situated on a lovely beach were we indulged in sunloungers with a cocktail for company
Then as the sun was setting headed back to the boat
Then we finished our trip with dinner and cocktails at the Firefly resort followed by live music at Basil’s.
Don’t want to leave but we’re having a quick stop overnight at Canouan and then heading back to Tobago Cays for more snorkelling and lobster BBQ on the beach.
