Back in Port Dinorwic marina after a fast trip down from Jura with the threat of storms imminent. Fortunately we timed it right and flew south with a brisk NW wind behind us getting the tidal gates at Mull of Kintyre, Chicken Rock and Puffin Sound on the dot. The next low struck just as we were 3 nm from Puffin with 30 knot winds, driving rain and poor visibility necessitating some hard motor sailing for a while, once again proving what a tough ship we have. So now it's clean up and reflection time after a memorable journey of 2615 nm circumnavigating Iceland with some fine friends and a brace of good nephews.
