Well that was a rolly 24 hours but with a 144 mile run we are very happy.
Every now and then we have to don waterproofs and close hatches to keep out the rain but with only 190 miles to go nevermind.
The weather is sunny or starry one minute and cloudy rainy and squally the next but finally the seas are going down and the motion is more comfortable.
Just had drinks and healthy crisps in the cockpit (baked butternut and beetroot – those of you in the know can imagine the skippers reaction!!)
Alison has kindly volunteered to cook tonight and so on the menu is an “ostrich sausage and vegetable extravaganza”
Sorry the blog is more boring than that of the last ocean crossing but from where we sit the difference is much appreciated.
All well on board
Best wishes
