We’ve been contending with a high pressure convergence during the last 24 hours – ie head winds, then no wind, then showers, then no wind while we drifted around at 3 knots 70 degrees off course waiting for the head winds to subside, then light wind, then finally light wind in the right direction and we’re back on course doing just 5 knots with the promise of a stronger breeze tomorrow. Fi won at cards again, we made bread and muffins and still failed to catch fish. Life is slow but with only 597 miles to go the sky is clear blue and every day it gets warmer – so we are content and all’s well on board.
