Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day and as it drew to a close a pod of fin whales and dolphins gave us a spectacular display of sometimes outrageous activity ie a dolphin coming vertically out of the water right next to the boat. The sunset was nice but by the time midnight arrived we were motoring in thick, cold clammy fog. This lasted until well after dawn but kept most of us alert for shipping traffic which regularly showed on AIS and radar but never in sight. We now have 145 nm to run to Kinsale and the plan is to call in and top up the diesel before heading out again late tomorrow night for the trip up the Irish sea. All well on board Happy Birthday Lucie.
