It is blowing 25 knots with 30 knot gusts and raining heavily and we are putting in the 3rd reef in the main and we have no headsail out at present. We are making 7 knots and heading a bit south of our course line to get into more favourable conditions.
All the crew are doing well and everyone is a little tired after our first rolly night. Getting used to the banging and crashing down below takes a little getting used to and everyone finds it more peaceful when they venture up to the cockpit for watches.
Luckily we had just had lunch before the rain squall hit us so at least we are all well fed!
All well on board
