Alongside the international jetty Durban port. Even though our Balmar
12v alternator was supposedly fixed in Richards Bay it actually only
charged for about an hour before it failed again, so that together with
a weather window that would have meant motoring another 260 miles down
to East London meant that we decided on prudence for once and cut the
trip short at Durban. We'll now be here in the big city until the next
weather window- whenever that is - and almost certainly for Christmas.
