A brief report. We had poor visibility and drizzle all last night and easing winds so we motor sailed until 1000 this morning. Still heavily overcast with poor visibility at times and varying wind speed. However, we’re still on course making 6 knots hard on the wind so its a bumpy ride. We’re expecting a wind shift to the NE before too long and with 88nm to go we’ll probably end up motor sailing the last few hours. Fi just made bread and bacon butties for lunch so the crew are still surviving –only just at times, with the occasional hiccup but all well on board.
