We threw off the lines at 0600 this
morning before the fresh winds set in and said our farewells to one of our
favourite islands - made especially so by the hospitality shown us by Jerome,
the marina manager, and his wife Jessie. We had some wonderful treks in the
hills together and their advice over where
to visit certainly helped us make the best of our time on La Reunion. This
morning 5 OCC boats left on passage to Richards bay and so we'll have plenty of
radio chat to entertain us..Weather is clear and calm so we are motor sailing at
the moment but I'm sure there is wind just around the corner. All well on
board.
