Well, today was decision day regarding Greenland and, after consulting various weather resources we decided that the situation in mid Atlantic with a couple of vigorous lows developing was too volatile to allow sufficient certainty of reasonable weather in the Denmark Strait, so we abandoned the idea and decided to head on south to Reykjavik and the Vestman islands before looking for a weather window back home in a couple of weeks time. We’re now in a small, well sheltered fishing harbour at Suderereyri with apparently a really nice swimming pool to be investigated tomorrow.
