Speed 6.5 – 7.0 knots 134nm to go to Sururoy the southern most island in the Faeroes. We left Stornoway at 0600 this morning under grey skies and with a lumpy sea – not to the approval of the crew although they are coping admirably. This is evidenced by the fact that they are all about to tuck into a bowl of chilli !!?. Weather looks settled at the moment and the wind remains aft of the beam at around 15 – 18 knots although we are expecting a weak front to cross our path tonight bringing some rain and a westerly change. Should be in by late afternoon tomorrow all being well. A walk ashore will be welcome.
