Another interesing day at sea. Squally winds this morning kept us on our toes - reefing and trimming sails to ever changing wind directions. It settled down this afternoon as the wind settled into a SSE of 10 - 15 kts and now we're bowling along at 6+ knots under windvane, staysail and one reef in the main. Highlights of the day - watching Abbotts Boobies and Wedge Tail Petrels cruise around the boat using the 3m swell to perfect advantage, catching our first yellow fin tuna and seeing our 19 year old crew become so totally absorbed in this ocean crossing experience. The rising full moon was brighter than the sunset - amazing. All well on board. 103 nm to go to Cocos.
