After a very rough and windy night at anchor
we set off at 6.00 this morning for the 80 mile leg to Flinders Island. This was
probably the strongest wind we have experienced on a passage in this boat with
wind gusts to 35 knots. Thankfully, having the wind almost directly behind us
and the stabilizers working overtime gave us very comfortable ride.Intersting to
share these narrow passages through the reef with tankers and bulk
carriers.
