We are safely at anchor inside the lagoon at Minerva Reef. Finding our way through the tricky entrance and dealing with a navigation marker that had been moved 150 meters from its charted position made for an interesting challenge. However our timing was perfect with sun directly overhead. We are the only boat here in this lagoon that is about three miles across...250 miles from the nearest land. No sand, no trees, no birds and at high tide nothing visible except for the breakers on the windward side of the reef. We had radio contact with a US catamaran this morning and they are racing to get here late this afternoon.

Our fish stocks were replenished this morning when Sue reeled in another small mahimahi.
