Very nice weather but very poor sailing conditions.
Winds 6-10k from dead astern. Have motored 23 and 3/4 hours of the last 24
hours.
Seas slight so conditions very comfortable for
eating and drinking!
1 Barracouda caught and released. 1 strike which
had the line disappearing off the spool at an incredible rate despite drag full
on. Lost hook!
Champagne and belinis followed by roast
fillet of beef, roast vegies peas, carrots and even a yorshire pudding
to celebrate halfway point.
Distance covered 188 miles. Immediate forecast is
for strengthening winds gusting up to 30 knots which should take us all the way
to St Lucia.
