A good 24 hours sailing. Winds held around 18-25k
for the entire period. A nice Dorado landed mid afternoon which was eaten for
dinner last night.
Small problem with the furling main discovered this
morning with the pin that goes through the mast and connects to the furler in
the boom working loose. This required us dropping the main and resecuring
the pin in the right position. Lucky to find it before it worked its way right
out. This caused us to lose half an hour of sailing time. However winds are
holding well and we are averaging about 9k.
Have just celebrated the 1000 mile mark with
champagne brunch. |
