Position, 25.31S 155.33E
We are 166 miles east of Cape Morten and have
just been buzzed by an aircraft which then called us on the VHF radio and
identified themselves as Australian Customs. They wanted to know who we were,
where we are going to who was on board and whether we had any plans or
animals.. Since there is no other vessel in sight one can only imagine
what the cost of survelance must be.
So, another beautiful, sparkling day. The sea is a
little flatter and I am pleased to report that we have had no more major
spills.
