Since midnight the wind has improved and we are sailing with poled out headsail. However, the swell being generated by a depression to our south has increased and we estimate the wave height to be close to 12ft. This makes getting around the boat tiring and some people find the noise makes sleeping difficult. In spite of the difficult sea conditions the boat is behaving well and the forecast is good. We expect to be able to get to Vava'u on Friday or Saturday morning.
