In this part of the world we don't expect to see any other ships or yachts so we were surprised to see two last night. One was simply a distant light that didn't return any image on our radar. The other was a very large trawler. It was a blaze of lights and our radar showed that it was steering a very erratic course. Although we passed only half a mile away it was not possible to see its nationality. Beautiful sailing last night and today so our fuel crisis has been averted.

Grilled tuna last night was delicious. Our challenge now is to eat up all the remaining fruit, vegetables and eggs or they will be confiscated by the agriculture officials when we get to Tonga.
